About Me

Hi, I'm Kayla

I’m a Michigan native who fell in love with photography in high school, when I first discovered how powerful it can be to preserve a moment and tell a story. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a lifelong passion for capturing connection, emotion, and the beauty found in everyday life.
Outside of photography, I share life with my husband and our two cats, who fully believe they’re part of the creative team. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working with newborns and their families in hospitals each week, documenting some of life’s most tender beginnings. Alongside that work, I run my own photography business, where I photograph a wide range of people and milestones—from portraits and celebrations to meaningful life events of all kinds. No matter the setting or subject, my goal is always the same: to capture authentic moments, preserve precious memories, and highlight the beauty of life as it unfolds. These are the images that become keepsakes, telling your story for years to come.
